How to Manage Facebook Ads
An ad contains all of the information necessary to display an ad on Facebook, including the creative.
To create an ad, first you need to create a creative.
Name: Name of the ad.
Status: Status (Active or Paused) of the ad.
Creative ID: Enter the ID of creative for the ad.
Ad Creative
Ad creative contains content for the ad.
Name: Name of the ad creative. This field has a limit of 100 characters.
Page Id: The ID of the Facebook Page associated with the ad.
Primary Text (Message): The main body of the post. It is displayed above the image.
Headline (Title): The title of ad displayed in bold. It is displayed below the image.
Description: Description of the ad. This is displayed below the headline or title.
Link: The url for the ad.
Caption: Link caption. It overwrites the caption under the title in the link.
Call To Action: Select text for the CTA button.
Image: Image for the ad.

- Resolution: 1:1 ratio - 1440 x 1440 pixels or 4:5 ratio - 1440 x 1800 pixels
- Primary text: 50-150 characters
- Headline: 27 characters
Video
- File type: MP4, MOV or GIF
- Ratio: 1:1 (for desktop or mobile) or 4:5 (for mobile only)
- Resolution: 1:1 ratio - 1440 x 1440 pixels or 4:5 ratio - 1440 x 1800 pixels
- Video duration: 1 second to 241 minutes
