I created a category and some products to go with it, following those instructions from the doc:

Path for Downloadable Products: In the category options, you can set the base path for downloadable products for that category.

For example: /home/username/public_html/images

Then, if the downloadable file is in some folder in images, set the file name as: myfolder/myfile.pdf

I then created a menu leading to a category of products, but nothing shows, instead I get the "No matching results" error message.

Did I miss something ?

Please check if front status on the products is enabled.

Also, check access levels in category, product and component configuration.

 

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes Front status was enabled. There is no access level in category or product. But when I went into the component configuration, I noticed that there is an option to load bootstrap. Once I enabled JS and CSS, the products showed up in the menu. Thank you for leading me in the right direction. Another thing I noticed in the component configuration is the pro version was not activated ? How can I activate it (I am a premium member) ?

You can download the pro version and install it. It will be activated.

We have released the pro version recently. Documentation work for the difference between the two is under development.

Pro Version will have more advanced features as we continue to add more features to the shop.
