Manage Your Facebook Pages from Joomla

You can manage your Facebook pages and automate posting content to your Facebook pages from Joomla website.

Step 1: Facebook (Meta) Channel Integration

The first step is to create a channel of type Facebook and then establish connection to the Facebook.

Then under the Options Tab > Services, select Facebook Pages.

Step 2: Facebook Pages

If you are successfully connected, you will see the list of Facebook Pages (along with their Page IDs) you manage under Channels > View Channel button for the Facebook channel created in the first step.

Clicking on the name of the Facebook Page, you will see detailed view of that page.

Step 3: Manage Facebook Posts

Under the Feeds tab, you can view and manage the posts of your Facebook page.

  • View All Posts
  • Create New Posts
  • Update Existing Post
  • Delete Existing Post

Step 4: Automatic Posting from Joomla

First, you need to to enter the Facebook Page ID for which you want to enable Automatic posting. Under the Options tab, enter the ID of the Facebook page, Save the channel.

Then, create a Task of type scheduled to automatically post to the Facebook page. Here, you can set the frequency of posting.

  • Trigger: Scheduled
  • Action: Social Post
  • Under Trigger Settings, set the frequency.
  • Under Action Settings, select channel.
