Cannot subscribe users to TF Mail

Extension Version: 3.3.8 Pro
Joomla Version: 5.4.2
PHP Version: 8.3.29
I've successfully installed and published the component, module and plugins. However, whenever I test the subscription module I get an error message (see attached). Even though the message states that the email address is already subscribed the user does NOT exist in Joomla users and is NOT present in the TF Mail dashboard under either Users or Subscribers.
I have gone through your documentation (and YouTube videos) and have set things up as instructed. What am I doing wrong?
