Hi,

I installed TF Forum free.

When a user posts a topic, a Joomla user is automatically created. This user doesn't have a password. To post a reply, you must log in.

Is it possible to disable the creation of a Joomla user when posting a topic?

A Joomla user is only created when the user wants to reply.

Hello

As the component doesn't store user details, a new user is created.

1. Either you can make registration compulsory before creating new topic by restricting topic creation to registered users.
2. Or you can send email to users with the password or procedure on how to reset/create password.
