Hi!

I have just installed and configuring the TF Forum. I found that there is no logout button after I have login to create new topic or reply topic.

Besides, most of the words cannot be found in language override, what should I do? Or which document I can customize the words?

1. For logout, you can create Joomla menu item for Users > Logout.

2. Please share the words which are not available in language overrides. We will add them.

On the All Topics page:

SEARCH, Title, Description, Started by XX on, Replied by XX on, Subject, Replies

On the Create Topic page:

Your Name, Your Email, Subject or Title, Captcha, equals, WORDS

For search, you can create override for: COM_TF_BUTTON_SEARCH

For Title and Description placeholders, we will update the component to include these as language strings as well. The component will be updated in 2 to 4 days.

Which plugin or custom field is used for file attachments?

I added the field in "TF Forum: Fields" and choose the type "media".

Even if I enable the debug mode, no new hints shown. Besides, I found that in your site, upload file let user to select files from own computer, but for my site, it let user to select files from the server folders. They are different.

For language strings, please update the library and click Install Languages from component dashboard.

Then add override for COM_TF_SEARCH_TITLE and COM_TF_SEARCH_DESCRIPTION

For file uploads, we are using File Upload Custom Field - https://www.techfry.com/joomla-extensions/file-upload-joomla-custom-field

You can use any other similar file upload custom field from JED as well.

What do you mean by "update the library"?

Hi, I'm having a problem on the TF forum.I started the discussion in Chinese. I followed the steps in the video to create it, but when I entered my message and content and clicked "Submit", instead of being directed to the actual page like in the video, the page was not found. This problem also occurs when I send messages. After creating a discussion in Chinese, it cannot be directed. I click the button to return to the homepage. When I go back to the forum I see that my post was indeed sent, but when I click on the discussion title I can't get to my discussion page. However, when I create it in English and numbers, it works. It can be used normally. I changed the Chinese title to English in the administrator interface and it was successful. I also used the admin interface to change the English title to Chinese. The problem is that I cannot create a Chinese title that can be clicked into the online discussion. Is there any way to solve this problem?
