TF Learn 500 Error

Aloha!

I wrote previously about an error in saving courses, modules, etc, and that was fixed. However, after that point, I was getting 500 errors when clicking on the course on the front end, saying that "500 Layout default_layout_plain not found". (TF Learn Free version)

It was fixed when I was emailing with TF, but in a fresh installation of Joomla 6, with a fresh TF Learn Pro installation, the 500 errors are back in the fresh installation. I emailed in the same chain with the new installation's Super User information, but haven't heard back.

I figured I would start a new thread, just in case that is how I am supposed to initiate it. I noticed this was an issue in TF Shop in this thread from 2022: https://joomlafry.com/forum/redirect-page

I am concerned, because I really like TF Learn and it seems to do everything I need it to do, but I am worried about recurring errors that will cause my students and customers to have a bad user experience. Can I please get some help with it or be shown how to fix it myself, in case it comes up in future versions?

Thank you!

Thank you!  I see that now, thank you!  It would still be nice to know how it was fixed so that if it comes up in another update, I wouldn't have to come to the forum to get it fixed.

I am having a new set of issues, which I could use some assistance with, please.

1) I modified the alias name of one of the courses and now I get a "0 syntax error, unexpected token "="" error. (The one with "kunihi" included in the title)

2a) In the other one, which is now working (called "Oli Komo"), has two Enrol buttons for some reason.  How do I 1) remove one of the buttons and 2) change it from "Enrol" to something else?

2b) Once I get into the course by clicking enrol, logging in, and clicking enrol again, and then I "view details", it takes me to the same "0 syntax error, unexpected token "="" error.  When I remove the modules from that course, it works and goes to the course.  But of course it is blank because there are no modules.

For you to see, I have left the kunihi one with modules (throws the error) and left the komo one without modules.

Thank you!

Hello

The earlier issue was in the component, which is now fixed. So, it will not come again.

1) Likewise, the first error (unexpected token "=" error) is also resolved.

2a) Two enrolments buttons are due to component settings under the "Course" tab > Enrol Button Location. I have set it to Top. Now it is showing one time.

For changing text, you can create language override: System > Language Overrides > Select Language for Site. The constant for "Enrol" is COM_TFLEARN_ENROL_NOW. You can also search for other constants.

2b) This error seems to be same as the first one. let me know if it is not fixed.

Thank you!
