TF Mail doesn't send mails. I have Joomla 5.4.1 and TF Mail 3.3.5.

I have an automated newsletter that send out if there are new articles in a category but now I had a new article and when I looked in the preview, nothing was there.

I looked in the forum where I read another problem with the proposal of a reinstall of TF Mail

I tried to reinstall TF mail but had a error message: Argument #2 ($string) must be of type string, Joomla\CMS\Installer\Adapter\ComponentAdapter given

The component is updated but still not working.

I have an automated newsletter that used to work but now it seems that it no longer sees new articles in the categorie

In the body of the newsletter I have  '{MULTIPLE Art}' and in the options 'Articles' as Multiple Items source and the chosen category in Categories and 5 as limit.

It used to work but now, since some time, it doesn't. I just created a new article in the categories but in the preview it is not showing anything but the fixed text and some other placeholders for name and date that it shows right.

The last newsletter was send half august, since then I had only 1 or 2 new articles but they were not send.

PS: is it normal that I didn't get an warning of a new post here?

Still no response...

I made an manual newsletter (with a code to include an article) and send it out manually (via the preview-button and the send-button and later the Process-button in the Queue screen), that worked.

But the automated newsletter seems not to see when there are new articles any more.

I see now that also my Birthday mails stopped sending out since end September.

It seems to work again (I get a preview with content) but still not as before.

I had set it to check for new articles (in send options) in a categorie and max 5 articles (in Options).

Today I have 1 new article but it shows the 5 latest articles in the newsletter, so also older articles (most already send)

For the moment I set it to 1 article, but sometimes I will have more than 1 new article on the same day.

I thought it worked (partially) again, but that is not true.

The preview works again but, as said before, it doesn't check for only the new articles any more.

But also it seems that the scheduled tasks doesn't run anymore.

When I open them and save the next run date is adapted but I don't think they actually runs and even if they run once, they don't get rescheduled.

What can I do?

Hello

To include only new articles, you can add condition to match the sending frequency. For example for 7 days, publish_up < 7.

This will include articles published latest in 7 days.
