Using TF Forum As a Help Desk

Hi,

I've installed TF Forum hoping to use it as a helpdesk/ticket system. What is the best way to ensure that users cannot view each other's topics? In other words, I want users to ONLY be able to view topics that they created.

Hello

Yes, you can use it as support system. Create a new menu item: TF Forum -> List User Topics. This will have only topics created by logged-in users.

Okay, but let's say there are 2 users. User 1 creates a topic that is viewable at the URL: .........?view=topic&id=1 Is there anything to prevent User 2 from typing that URL (with parameters) in the browser and accessing that topic?

Please update the extension. We have released new version with this feature.

In Configuration -> Topic,
Set Restricted Access to Yes.
